When Aliya called to organise a surprise pre wedding photo shoot, for her and her partner Sam. Well… I couldn’t wait! Tasked with the challenge, of finding a completely white horse that could be sat upon with Aliya’s stunning dress. And to find a venue for the shoot for the moment we came out of the first Lockdown due to Covid-19. Fingers crossed the weather would be kind to us in October!

Draycote Hotel is situated in the heart of Warwickshire, Draycote is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the peaceful Draycote Water which offers a stunning backdrop to your wedding day photography. It really is the perfect location for your wedding or a special event. I have photographed at Draycote Hotel a number of times it really is a lovely venue to create your wedding day memories with Emma Lowe Wedding Photography.

The Day of the Wedding Shoot

We were blessed with a lovely autumn morning with the weather, JEM Carriages were on route with the most beautiful mare called Vesper for the photo shoot. Aliya had organised the Wedding Shoot but had a surprise for Sam as they both love horses, he didn’t know the wedding photos would include Vesper!

As Myself and Joanne prepared for the wedding photo shoot they arrived, Sam came around the horse box to ask if it would be ok to take a photo on his phone with the horse, even when myself and Aliya told him the horse was here for him he didn’t believe us, Sam was completely over the moon!

During the photo shoot we moved to different locations around the grounds of Draycote Water with the lake, gazebo that is very iconic for Draycote Wedding photographers.
